Energy savings
Energy savings
Due to their cellular structure, Honeycell fabrics have excellent insulating properties. In houses, a large part of the heat in the house is lost through the windows, even when double glazing is used. By lowering the Honeycell shades, air is trapped inside the cells functioning as an insulation blanket in front of your window. They have proven to reduce heat loss in winter by 46% and to reduce heat absorption in summer by 78%. They minimize the need for heating and air-conditioning and as a result contribute to lower energy costs throughout the year.
Insulation
During winter months, warm air escapes through the windows, while during summer, solar heat enters through these same windows. With Honeycell insulating window fabrics, you can reduce your energy consumption and thus save on heating costs and create a comfortable indoor climate.
Solar heat regulation
In summer, heat from solar energy can lead to unpleasantly high temperatures indoors. Honeycell cellular fabrics help to control solar heat by allowing it to enter in the winter and to
reflect and keep out as much as possible during summer.
Noise Absorption
Noise Absorption
Honeycell fabrics have proven to absorb and noticeably dampen noise. Honeycell fabrics have been tested according to DIN EN ISO 11654. Test results are available at request. So, if you choose for Honeycell cellular shades, you will not only have better acoustics in your home but you will also benefit from better light control and a better insulated window against hot or cold temperatures.
Privacy
Privacy
Depending on the transparency of the fabric, Honeycell blinds are perfect for creating the desired privacy in home or office. The level of transparency defines to what extent people can see through the fabric, both from the inside out and from the outside in. The black-out varieties are perfect for bedrooms. Not only do they block out the light, but they also prevent people from looking in.
No visual cord holes
Due to the cellular shape of the fabric, the operating cords can pass through the cells without having visible cord holes, leading to extra privacy.
Sustainability
Sustainability
We are aware of the increasing scarcity of energy, minerals and raw materials and our impact on the ecosystems. We aim to organise all our operating processes, products and services in a sustainable way.

Flame retardant
Flame retardant
Flame retardant fabrics are textiles that are more resistant to fire than regular fabrics. These fabrics have been treated so that they slow the spread of fire and provide additional escape time. They are ideal for nurseries, offices and are available in a wide range of colours from bright yellow and hulk green to commercial grey tones. We have fabrics meeting various European and international standards such as B1, NFPA701 and FMVSS302.
Care & Maintenance
Honeycell® fabrics are easy to clean. Simply soak the Honeycell® fabric in approx. 30˚ C water with a mild detergent.
Rinse the fabric well and compress the cells together to push water out of the blind. The blind should not drip anymore. The blind must be hung moist and has to dry closed. During the drying process, open and close the blind several times to prevent cells sticking together.
Do not iron the blind!
Metallized and black-out coated fabrics are not washable. These fabrics can be cleaned carefully with a moist cloth but do not rub! We recommend cleaning by an appropriate specialist.
Please note:
Do not clean windows with any chemical products which make direct or indirect contact with the blind. Condensation spots can arise when there is reduced ventilation.
We do not take responsibility for any fabric damages caused by cleaning the material or insect excrements.
Honeycell fabrics are not designed for outdoor use, therefore we cannot give any guaranteeon fabrics placed in an open or partly glassed roof.

The above instructions have been drawn up with the utmost care. Nevertheless we cannot accept any responsibility for cleaning results
